NI Water meet with CEF homebuilders

This week NI Water joined CEF homebuilders to outline their modelling approach in areas where wastewater capacity constraints continue to exacerbate Northern Ireland’s housing crisis– an estimated 19,000 homes are unable to progress locally with £1bn of investment currently stymied. 

This welcome engagement comes at a critical time for the industry, against a backdrop of a 60-year low of housing completions in 2023 and an ever-growing social housing waiting list, drastic budget cuts to capital investment continue to hamper much needed housing.
